After schooling he worked as a Waiter and Room service
Later as their family started a Bakery and hot chips he had run that Bakery for 12 years
Every day he used to watch movies in 3 theatres around his Bakery
His mother used to encourage him to go and watch movies , again and again the same movies ..so that you can learn different crafts
At 22 years age he purchased a Camera , and he was taking pictures of all the sports and events around his location
He used to write a story with pictures to newspapers
And on one day he took pictures of world Boxing championship for which he was paid a lot
With this he started spending more time on photography
But he had to struggle for 3 yrs with not much success
at age of 35 years On one day , he went for a Miss india festival ,
One day a popular actor came to his studio and told him you better will fit as a actor than a photographer …but boman was not convinced
Then the actor took him to a director who offered him to act in a song , later everybody started saying you are a good actor
Then he got a chance in another play in a theater which became a huge hit for 10 yrs
At age of 42 , he did a experimental feature film “lets talk” .. where in the editing room a guy called Vinod chopra watched him and gave a 2 lakh cheque as a advance for his next film
After 6 months he got a call for the movie , “Munna bhai mbbs “ which became huge hit
